Venture Travel App
This app is for people who love to travel and explore new places. It is designed to keep you more organized when you travel. This way you don't have to open up several websites or several apps. Everything will be in one place. This app will allow you to plan, pack, and book. There is also an account page where you can take pictures and store photos.
Branding
I have always loved to travel. So I designed an app to make it easier to organize all your travel details and travel needs. This is what the app will look like in the app store. I also designed a motion graphic to show what the loading screen will look like before you sign in.
HOME
The home page is designed to have easy functionality. It has multiple uses. You can continue planning for the trip and save destinations for future trips, and there are quick ways to get to booking, packing, and pictures.
SEARCH FOR YOUR DESTINATION
This page is designed to let you pick the continent and interest and it will pick destinations for you. There is also a search bar in case you already have a destination in mind. This page will also show you what destinations to avoid based on your interests for that particular trip. Once you click on the destination you would like to go to, it will show you popular activities, hotels, and restaurants. It will also provide average costs and some descriptions.
CHOOSE YOUR PLACE
TO STAY
This app is designed to give you package deals for where you want to stay. The way it works is you can look up where you are traveling to and it will provide you with a list of deals for that location. Then when you click on it, it will bring you to a secondary page that shows the flight, and experiences included, and you can select a hotel. At the top, you will also be able to change dates accordingly.
PACK AND PLAN
On the right is the packing page which will provide you with a checklist that you can go in and edit however you like so you can stay organized while packing for a trip. On the left is the itinerary which will also allow you to go in and edit. It will allow you to add as many days as you want. There are also notes you can add at the bottom.
SAVE THE MEMORIES
Lastly, you will have your very own account page. This page allows you to take pictures and catalog them so you can always save the memories. The pictures will be cataloged by each trip and by date and year. Also, when you take pictures on the app, you will have the option to save to camera roll as well.
Functionality and Interface
These flat pages are meant to showcase how the app looks and functions. There is also a prototype so anyone can see how the app functions by clicking through it. The user interface is designed so that any person can use it up to its full functionality. I designed it to have certain colors on certain pages, this way it is easy to determine what page you are on.
